Riante Sky

2018 gelding by Grand Slam out of a Sky Kingdom mare

16.3+

20 starts

Introducing the slowest thoroughbred I’ve ever ridden. This guy is one of those that’s worth his weight in gold. River has mostly been doing dressage training for the last 6 months and while he’ll do it, he really thinks having to go in a frame is for the birds.

We put a jump saddle on him the other day and just played, and he was ears perked forward and so happy. And still so slow.

No contact? No problem. Missed the distance? He did just enough to clear it anyway. The only thing that offends him is the idea of working harder than necessary.

He’s an easy, consistent ride and would be good for someone looking for a low level all around type. He’s been hacked around the property alone and with another horse, has done a local dressage show. Easy easy guy to have around.

His owner is needing to downsize her herd and motivated to find him the best partner!

Rani

🌧️Chilindrina’s Rainy Day🌧️

2015 Friesian x Azteca mare

By Andric (Gofert 369) out of La Chilindrina (by Chichalacco)

So many good things to say about this mare! Rani is an affectionate, curious, puppy dog type. While she’s on the smaller side, she takes up leg well (rider is 5’8 ) and has a big step. She is currently broke WTC and started over jumps. She is working to be more consistent and confident in the contact. She’s a forward, sensitive ride but no dangerous or naughty habits. Nice, soft mouth. Owner’s teenage daughter has pulled her out and ridden her around.

She’s green for her age, but she really gives you the feel that there is “a lot under the hood” to work with, and I really think she has some phenomenal potential in the dressage ring. She’s also super willing to jump, so I could see her being a fun one for foxhunting as well with more training! She has fantastic movement and with further development and balance I think will be quite the stunner and pull some pretty decent scores. I think a professional or good riding ammy looking for an investment type is going to have a lot of fun with her!

She’s an easy keeper, and can be stalled or turned out without much fuss. She’s barefoot, and has good ground manners and just in general is pretty easy to have in the barn.

Teddy

15 year old grade warmblood gelding

15/15.1ish TANK

Teddy is the cutest brown draft cross looking butterball in my barn right now. He is that perfect age where he still has a lot to offer and several years of fun left in him, but he’s old enough that the silly young horse antics just don’t interest him.

Teddy will be a lot of fun for a rider that enjoys a sensitive, forward but safe ride and wants to do a little bit of everything. Super cute mover, loves affection/attention, and very much a people pleaser. He enjoys and feels best with a rider that likes to take a feel, but still has a nice mouth. He has a brave, willing jump and really enjoys it.

He was previously used as a lesson horse and he might be okay to do that again for advanced students, but I would not recommend him for anything less than an intermediate rider.

No buck/rear/spook, literally lives off of air in 24/7 turnout, great to handle for baths, farrier, grooming, etc. Easy loader
